There is no required textbook for this class but we will loosely follow the textbook "Algorithms, 4th Edition" by Robert Sedgewick and Kevin Wayne, Addison Wesley Press. It comes with a companion website that contains chapter summaries, code, and exercises.
Any code we see in class is also posted on the class Github repo.
The course has a slack channel in the Pomona College slack workspace.
This channel is
intended to provide a platform for students to
seek help from and provide support for their peers.
Slack is not a replacement for office hours or mentor
hours. The course
staff will monitor slack and will try to answer all
questions within 24 hours, but shorter response times cannot be
guaranteed. Please plan accordingly.
All assignments should be submitted on Gradescope. Grades will be available on that platform and Sakai approximately one week after the assignment was submitted.
