Instructions for Connecting to Basin (CS files)

For Mac:

• From the desktop, Go > Connect to Server
• Connect to: smb://basin.cs.middlebury.edu/*username*
• You will be prompted for your username and password (think e-mail)

Once you're connected, you should see your CS files. Your webpage files should all be located in the "public_html" folder

For PC:

• Under the start/windows menu select "Computer"
• Near the top, click on the button "Map Network Drive"
• Type “\\basin.cs.middlebury.edu\*username*” in the “Folder:” text box
• You will be prompted for your username and password (think e-mail)

Once you’re connected, you should see your CS files (under your user name) as a networked drive in when viewing "My Computer"
Your webpage files should all be located in the "public_html" folder
