**Annotated Bibliography** CS 190 [Back to landing page](../index.html) For your next milestone, you will be revising your bibliography for your CS 190 project or senior thesis, and you will be creating annotations---brief descriptive and evaluative paragraphs---for each paper in your bibliography. See [How to Prepare an Annotated Bibliography](https://guides.library.cornell.edu/annotatedbibliography) for more information about annotated bibliographies. # Starting Your Annotated Bibliography For your literature review, you will need to: - use $\LaTeX$ to create your annotated bibliography PDF - update your project description from your bibliography submission - add an annotation to each item in your bibliography - mark any new articles with **(new)** - you must have at least 8 articles from your sections list below in Section Relevant Conferences - you may include articles from other venues including pre-prints - please make it clear which articles are from the list below and which are not An *annotation* is a brief (usually about 150 words) descriptive and evaluative paragraph that describes key ideas in the paper and its relevance to your project. Each annotation should include (along with the summary) the authors, title, publishing venue, and year of publication. See the [previous milestone](m3-bibliography.html) for guidance on finding and reading articles. # Relevant Conferences To help you explore the space of sub-areas, the following are a list of venues (conferences and journals) that regularly publish research in areas relevant to each of the current 190 sections. 1.
