There will be an open-book take-home midterm after spring break covering both lectures and readings. There will also be a final project that is to build on the material presented in class. You will submit a written report as well as make a presentation (and demo) of your work. You can do the project by yourself or with one other person. More details will be presented later in the term.
Student grades will be determined as follows: Midterm: 30%, Final Project: 30%, Homework and programs: 40%.
