There will be 24 hour take-home midterm and final exams covering both lectures and readings. The midterm will be available the week before spring break. The 24 hour take-home final exam that can be taken between Monday and Wednesday of finals week (or the last week of classes for seniors).
Student grades will be determined as follows: Midterm: 25%, Final Exam Exam: 35%, Homework and participation: 40%.
